Your first appointment at Helping Hands will involve primarily assessment and discussion to get to know your needs, with the purpose of forming the most efficient intervention plan. If you have any reports or handovers from previous assessments or therapists, you can send them in advance of your appointment so we can review them. Formal assessment sessions for the purpose of Diagnostics and Assessment of Need are not offered. This is because with our limited clinical time, we prioritize providing intervention to the people we support.

Physiotherapy Fees

Initial consultation: Typically 1 hour in the clinic.                                                                                                       €140 per hour

Can take up to 2 hours for complex cases, or 3 hours for a wheelchair assessment. Please call us to assess how long you will need.

Occupational Therapy Fees

Initial consultation with Physiotherapist and Occupational Therapist (up to 1 hour in clinic)                                €240

We ask that you give us as much notice as possible when cancelling to give another family the chance of taking your place. However, we understand that especially in a pandemic, people can be unwell or unexpected things come up with children/adults with complex needs, so we do not charge any cancellation fees once the message is received at least 30 minutes before the session. 

​

If a pattern of late cancellations is observed with >3 incidents of cancelling on the day, a small charge may be applied to future cancellations to cover costs, which will be discussed with you in advance.

​

In the rare event of a no-show or less than 30 minutes’ notice of a cancellation, a charge of 50% of your original appointment time will be due before your next session can be booked

​

Please note our Occupational Therapy clinic is held once a month, places are limited and advance booking is required to avoid disappointment.

​

Home visits are available on request and subject to availability. Please note that mileage will be charged at the following rates, based on distance from the clinic address, which can be found on our Contact Page.
